Leadership Mission Statement

The mission of the Leadership class is to create memories for all students! We want to build South Tahoe Pride by creating positive, life-long memories and significant moments that are shared with friends, family, and future generations. As a leader, I understand that leadership STARTS with me, but it’s not about me…It is about finding ways to SERVE my campus & community while creating a great sense of school SPIRIT and pride for everyone. I look for ways to SHINE the spotlight on the success of the others and our school!

The curriculum is centered around learning effective communication, cultural competencies, connecting to others, individualism vs. collectivism, expanding the leadership base, perseverance, and courage to become the best version of yourself.

Expectations:

We, the members of the Associated Student Body of South Tahoe High School, to create a positive learning environment, develop student leadership, encourage school spirit, promote positive student experiences and encourage success throughout our student body, do establish this constitution.

October 7 Dance (Free for all leadership students)
October 27-28 Boo Bash. (Community Volunteers hours )
December 1-2 Winter Festival (Setting up week of or attending the event by doing Activities)
December Holiday Spirit Week
January 12 Winter Sport Rally
January 26 Winter Formal (All Leadership students, ASB students only must attend)
February Spirit Week and Lunchtime Activities
February Valentine Day Grams (Sell, decorate, and deliver during Flex period)
March 29 Spring Sports Rally and Black Light
March 29 Black Light (ABS Leadership Sophomores & Freshmen must attend)
April 23-25 Verses week (3 hours required for each class representative)
April 23 Dodgeball Freshman
April 24 Volleyball Sophomores
April 25 Juniors Talent Show, Viking Show, or Air Band
